How We Calculate Country Risk

WorldNOC's Country Risk Index provides real-time risk assessments for countries worldwide based on active threat signals from our global monitoring network. Each country's risk score is calculated using:

  • Signal Severity - The highest severity level among active incidents (critical, high, medium, low)
  • Escalation Probability - AI-predicted likelihood of situation escalation in the next 72 hours
  • Escalation State - Current trajectory: Flashpoint, Escalating, Unstable, or Cooling
  • Signal Volume - Number of distinct incidents being tracked

Risk levels are categorized as Critical (score 100+), High (70-99), Elevated (40-69), and Moderate (below 40). Click any country for detailed analysis including specific incidents, affected sectors, and recommended actions.
